Old cameras used to use silver plates and the oldest cameras were known as camera obscures, which would be entire rooms. I'm only recalling certain elements of it from art school, since that wasn't my focus, but adding this to minecraft could make for a lot of fun content creation! Imagine sealing off a cave or room, then covering a surface with silver blocks. Get a scene ready, let light in long enough to expose, then seal the room again, wax the silver, and voila! You have a photo for that room, totally custom to your world Could maybe even add a camera, but I think that's too straight forward and not as fun.
