I've purchased a copy of Bob Volman's scalping book. Before I invest a couple weeks reading 350 pages and then switching accounts to Think or Swim so I can use their tick graph option, has anybody read his book and found it very successful? Does his 70 tick graph make a big difference in scalping?
So I just wrote down an ebook on Forex price action. It's free! But I'm scared people might use it to rip people off.
I don't mind it being shared, I wrote it in order to help people grow and learn new things. What I'm worried about is that someone might plagiarize it and start charging for it. It already has a link to buy me a coffee, but I don't see anything that could prevent just deleting that with paint, reuploading and selling for like 20 bucks lol. What steps can i take? And if it happens, how would a lawsuit follow?
Basically the title. Those of you who trade on the minutes timeframe, do you prefer to use indicators or price action? I’m looking to start scalping but I’ve backtested various strategies to no avail. If any of you use indicators well, which do you prefer?

His Course is alright, I think what really helps him sell it is the indicator which seems to be pretty decent but I wouldn't rely on it. The course itself is pretty good but definitely not anything you cant find on you-tube or anywhere else. He does do a decent job at explaining the concepts from what i saw but maybe he could have taken more time to explain each vid more easily.
This are two trades I took on the 1 min timeframe. I consider myself a breakout scalper. Would this also be called price action scalping and is their any advice I can be given?
Stocks with good price action for day trading/scalping
When I say "good price action" I'm referring to basic candlesticks that don't have many reversals within the same candle and patterns that are more than likely to follow through sentiment. Lately I've been trading BA which has been pretty good. It seems that the stock more than likely continues direction/short term trend that it's price action is implying. There aren't many bull and bear traps and maybe 1-2 reversals per candlestick which is optimal in my opinion. AMD is also good at this, not too many fake-outs or traps. It will trend big in one direction for 15-30 minutes most of the time. These are really the only two that I have found with these traits. When I play SPY, QQQ, PYPL, or BABA, I notice they have many reversals and traps. I played SPY last week and literally topping tail bars turn to bottoming tail bars all in one candle and it annoys me lol. It's like bulls and bears are constantly fighting and cannot make up their minds. It seems one candlestick will change direction 4-6 times or more! For scalps it's like either take higher probability setups or close multiple trades because I don't know which direction will prevail. They're less predictable than AMD or BA in my opinion. AMD and BA seem to respect VWAP bounces and rejects after big moves. They respect moving averages, supports, resistances, while sentiment and momentum seem more one-sided during candlestick price action. Little to no traps at all, at least the way I trade and see the price action. I know things can change but lately I've just been loving their price action predictability. I can't say the same for other stocks. NVDA and I have a love-hate relationship. She consolidates at times and it'll be a little tricky but when she breaks out in one direction, it's big and likely predictable; that's what I love about her. PYPL, BABA, and sometimes SQ will have the most unpredictable candle patterns. Like engulfings turning to full reversals, making lower lows then the next candle they're making higher highs with no support or anything in sight. Honestly seems like the way most stocks would be because it's more random to me. I can understand choppiness in SPY and indices because they're weighted and factor in tons of different companies all with different news and fundamentals. Any opinions on this? What stocks do you think have predictable price action? I know many people out there can trade and read the tickers I mentioned with no problems, that's why trading is so personal, but can anyone relate to this?
