How to get a cyber security job/internship in South Africa without a degree or certifications

The money is for my flight, passport, and to buy the basic equipment needed for my dorm and uniform. The UK army as always been in my mind and with their commonwealth recruitment law I can provide my services, be able to help my family financially and serve a purpose in my life, I will be able to study my dream field of study while serving to provide and protect. South Africa is and will always be my home but it’s time for me to spread my wings and go to my calling. My basic training will be a 14 weeks course and then I will be deployed for 4 years. This is my software engineering resume I'm using to apply for Senior Engineering roles at "FAANG-like" companies. I know the timing isn't great with the recent hiring freeze... but what can you do. I've had a bit of a weird start to being an SWE. I didn't graduate college (messed up my course selection badly) and I started off with a lot of freelancing and solo work in the start of my career. I did a coding bootcamp after realizing that freelancing wasn't going to great development practices. I've sent my resume to bigger companies in the past but have not gotten interviews. I'm a relatively new rugby fan, I've only started watching with the 2021 Six Nations and since then I've been hooked. And ever since then I am of the opinion that it's not the rules that are difficult to understand, it's the competition formats. When I was a kid playing rugby I was watching highlights and, although the rules were hard to understand, it was the context of the tries and tackles that I didn't understand. Like why are England playing against Australia constantly or why were Australia playing a team called "british and irish lions"? I actually spoke recently to a friend of mine that watches a lot of sports and he told me that this was also his biggest problem with rugby, the calendar. One time you're watching the SIx Nations, then it's sevens and then it's random friendlies, for him it must be the weirdest thing. This was kind of a rant, but it's to explain that people on this sub often watch rugby from a very young age and don't understand how weird a lot of the things are, mainly due to only recently being turned professional. Now, I wanted to ask questions about south african rugby. I have a general idea but I need further explanations.
How is the young development process? In Portugal we do it much like France, you go to a school to learn school stuff and then, if you want to play a sport, you join a club while paying a monthly or yearly fee. You usually go and play after school. The club is usually small and you can have a contract with a bigger club if they offer you. It's the same thing with football/soccer. However, in the UK and ex-colonies, the schools are an essential part of the players development, with scouts often going to watch Grey College or Paul Roos games instead of watching some teams' u18s (again, that's how they do it here). That begs the question, do public schools (the ones you don't have to pay, in oposition to private schools), enter the same tournaments as the private schools like Grey College? If yes, are they competitive? If not, how am i, a normal kid with no money, supposed to follow a rugby career if I don't have the money to go to a private school?
How important is the Varsity Cup in the players' development? Once again I'm going to make a comparison with Portugal, where college sports are non existent. I mean, they exist but they're just not taken seriously, it's more of a social thing where you play with your friends and on weekends you play agaisnt other universities, but it's really nothing serious. If you want to play rugby while studying, you just have to play for a club nearby, that often has nothing to do with the place where you study. Now compared to that, in South Africa you have the Varsity Cup, where the players are absolute monsters and the competition attracts crowds and is shown on supersport, so i have to ask: do the players have scholarships like in the US? Are there famous colleges for playing rugby where Super rugby franchises search for new players? Do university players make money?
Are the Currie Cup franchises seen as regional teams? This question comes from a post in a portuguese website where they talked about the Super Rugby teams as "regional teams", much like we refer to England and France as "national teams" and that made me wonder, are the players from Cape Town binded to the stormers much like I, a portuguese, am binded to my national team? If I play for a school in Durban, are the Lions allowed to offer me a contract freely or do the Sharks have a "right of preference"? Does the same happen in highscools and universities? Then what happens to the people that don't have a team playing in a major competition, for example, the people that lived in the Eastern Cape, who did they support in Super Rugby? Did they just watch the Kings in the Currie Cup?
Sorry for the long post but I really needed this explained. As I said in the beginning, for me, context is very important and I often watch south african rugby highlights and don't understand what teams are playing for. Thank you in advance and sorry for the bad english!
Criticizing me for not being independent and self-sufficient at 18 (almost 19) even though they never let me do things on my own.
TLDR: My parents are mad and criticizing me for not being able to just go out into the world and be independent and self-sufficient whilst chastising me and punishing me all my life for doing things on my own. I do want to live a life but they're holding me back from doing so. Like the title said, I'm almost 19 and I really want to do what I can live my life, but my parents just don't allow me. For all my life they've kept me on a leash with an electric shock collar (metaphorically), then they expect me to be resourceful and self-sufficient?! There were so many times where I could've helped myself and learn but my parents either kept me back or forced me to do something else. They have this "Oh you are free to do what you want as long as it's what I also want" logic, and the thing is, we don't often see things eye to eye and we have different wants, so virtually everything that I do gets scrutinized. One time I got myself a printed T-shirt and a bag. My parents hated them and made me return them, and since then have been watching over what I can get for myself. Oh and by the way, I was already 14 when this happened. Another time I went to visit a classmate of mine and I got into big trouble just for that. I also recently volunteered to teach kids in a talent workshop and they forced me to withdraw. I am perfectly fine with like doing small minimum wage jobs and stuff like maybe fast food or retail but they don't want me there. They want me to like become a varsity athlete, a high class musician, and they're even making me do Forex and stocks (okay I actually don't hate that part but I don't agree with how they're pushing it on me for the social status boost). I can't get my own start because I'm stuck here with them and I've actually haven't finished highschool yet because I've been homeschooled, by them, and all I get is gaslighting because they thought I was a great student (even though I wasn't and I still don't know how I got good grades in elementary). I can't even get a GED because those don't exist where I live. I can't even move out because I don't know anyone. All my relatives are far away and we aren't very close as a result, and I don't have friends because I've been ostracized simply because I was a weirdo with different tastes and my parents didn't allow me to leave the house for my own leisure. That's also really bad because I live in a small town far from any city so I don't know where I can go find work or find places that can potentially help my situation. I know I have a good worker's spirit in me and I really want to put myself out there, because I actually help out in my church (the only place my parents let me do what I please because it's a damn church). The people there really love me because of how eager I am to work and help out. Then my parents are like "Huh, I have no idea what those people see in you because I know you're lazy and pathetic so stop lying to them." Then they continue to put an iron-grip on me.

I randomly got disconnected (despite good internet in a 5G area) from GoToMeeting multiple times. My webcam footage also randomly goes off. I had to restart the exam several times and do the desk check every time(4 times) during the Quant exam and was really getting tense. I tried my best to keep my composure but after the 5th webcam issue, I got issued a warning for cheating since my webcam continues to shut off randomly. This really killed my composure and I do not regularly have test anxiety (I am a varsity player and we were trained by sports psychologists on handling pressure. I was fine with all other tests I did but not this). Like what if I get reported to the business schools and get blacklisted from applying? That really was the final nail on my composure and I got rattled and missed a number of questions that I deemed easy. Eventually, the proctor confirmed and admitted that the problem was with the GoToMeeting App which was having bugs that time. When we switched to Zoom 2/3's into the Quant section, everything was fine. Damage has been done though and my Quant score really saw a nosedive. I tried meditating and composing myself for Verbal but I think I could only do so much. Still, I am happy with 38 but I feel I could have scored higher. I will do retake in a test center maybe after a few days. I just need a mental reset after that harrowing experience. I thought my dreams were done for if I get flagged for cheating over something that I had no control over. I am also debating as to whether I would like to apply for a refund, as the stress of customer service engagement may not be worth the mental damage for my upcoming test. TLDR: Don't take the GMAT online exam. There are some technical issues which you could never really prepare for. I do hope they ban GoToMeeting already given the bugs on this app which I also read about in GMATClub (after the fact huhu). Try to request for Zoom and insist with the proctor if you could. EDIT: Examity was quick and has gotten back to me. They will escalate for refund and will get back in 48 hours. Seems like I have a case. I am confident in the contents of the footage which captured all the irregularities. EDIT 2: Got the refund! I had a 5% Forex loss but all good.
